Community-Wide Internet for All Hammocks at New Tampa Residents

We are excited to announce that residents are now able to call and switch to our bulk community 1Gb/s internet by Frontier.  

The cost for this is included within existing HOA dues, without any price increase!! 

Once setup, you can ditch your individual Internet service, having one less bill to pay!

To switch to this service, you can call the Frontier Bulk Customer Service Center at:

(Option 2 for account services)

Monday-Friday: 8a.m. – 8p.m. EST

Saturday: 9a.m. – 8p.m. EST

Residents (Homeowners living here or those residents renting), to sign up, you'll need to provide:

  1. Our community's name (Hammocks at New Tampa Townhomes)
  2. Your name, and 
  3. Your address.

Information sessions were previously held to inform residents on this new benefit.

This first session was held at the Brentwood Clubhouse on September 9, 2025 at 6:00pm. 

The second session was held at the Brentwood Clubhouse on September 16, 2025 at 6:00pm.

Picture Perfect: Real World Bandwidth Tests from Our Community Fiber

Here is a speed test taken from a home within our community with our bulk, community-wide fiber 1 Gb/s Internet from Frontier. 

NOTE:

To be clear, total measured bandwidth will be a little less than 1 Gb/s, typically between 930Mb/s and 950Mb/s. This is due to transmission overhead. Sub 15ms response times offer quick requests, giving a snappier experience when using the Internet.

 Every home receives dedicated 1 Gigabit (1 Gb/s) upload & downloaded speed fiber internet from Frontier + 2 Eeros Wi-Fi access points.

If you wish to have more bandwidth or TV services, you can contact Frontier and pay the additional costs for those services.

 Frontier provides complimentary in-home installation to ensure your new service is working and will install the 2 provided Eero units for the mesh system, if you choose. This ensures no deadspots in the house. The community is already wired by Frontier (Verizon originally) fiber and construction is not required.

 The board is relentlessly focused on our promise to save owners' money while offering strong value with the funds we collect. Leveraging the buying power of the entire community positions us to deliver on that promise!

Call the Bulk Service Center at the information provided above. After you have the service switched, then you can cancel your existing service.  Existing Frontier customers are converted over automatically.

No, TV services are not included with this offering. Options like DIRECTTV, Sling TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, and YouTube TV are all available for purchase. If you're looking for a free TV service, you can try the MyFree DIRECT TV service at:

This is truly an all treat no trick offering! 

The board currently anticipates no need to increase dues, which has previously been communicated. 

Of course things change, so we can never guarantee it, but we promise to communicate in advance if something changes.

 Service will be provided for a term of 5 years. Annual increases are capped at 3% (max, but could be less). 

The base price is $23/month/unit. 

The community will receive $225,000 up front as an additional incentive. There are no immediate plans to spend these funds but instead, we anticipate using them to offset the cost of the service and the need for future dues increases.

 There is no restriction on having another provider. 

That said, the cost is covered and does not decrease for residents that choose not to utilize the service.

 Frontier provides a dedicated Customer Success Manager to the community as well as a special contact center and phone number for the community, handling bulk accounts exclusively.  This team is 100% FL based representatives are available should you need any assistance.

I dont want to share a network with anyone. 

No, your network will be your individual network. The HOA will be billed for the service but will not be involved in your individual account.
